■ General Provisions

At Raphael International(hereafter referred to as “We”, “Us”, or “Our”), we respect the privacy of our members and we only collect the minimum information necessary for the provision of a seamless service at our website and for membership management.
We comply with the 『Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (hereafter referred to as “Regulations”) Chapter 4 (Protection of Personal Information)』 as well as the 『Personal Information Protection Guideline』 as provided by the Ministry of Information and Communication.
We are committed to protect the private information of our paying members (hereafter referred to as “Paying Members”) and internet members (hereafter referred to as “Web Members”) from unwanted disclosure, and we do not share any personal information with other third parties unless with the consent of the member or as allowed by regulations and legislations. We recommend that you check the ‘Privacy Policy Notice’ frequently since our Privacy Policy may be changed from time to time in accordance with changes in government-related legislations and guidelines, or changes in our Terms and Policies.

■ Purpose of Collection

We only collect the minimum information necessary for use of service. The purpose of our collection of your information is for the sponsorship of our activities (membership fee payment), provision of an even better information providing service, and provision of an even safer and easier web service that is built upon trust and reliability.

■ Collection & Scope of Use

– If registering as a Paying Member:
You will be required to provide the following details: real name, resident registration number, address (for postal receipt), phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, name of workplace, occupation, purpose of registration, method of registration, reference, membership type, agreed membership fee amount, method of payment etc. .
– If registering as a Web Member:
You will be required to provide the following details: real name, resident registration number, address, phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, name of workplace, occupation, purpose of registration, method of registration, reference, etc.

The detailed purpose of collection & use for each category of personal information are as follows:
– Name, resident registration number, ID, password: used for personal identification
– Email address, phone number, mobile phone number: used for seamless communication with our members and for activity announcements
– Bank account information: used for membership fee payment
– Address: for delivery of postal mail distributed by our organization (Web Members are not included)

■ Retention Period

We retain the personal information of our members for a Retention Period from membership registration to membership withdrawal. Additionally, we immediately delete the collected personal information once the purpose of collection is fulfilled. However, personal information is retained for a specified period of time in the following cases:
① In case information retention is required by legislative provisions (e.g. commercial law), transaction details and minimal personal information are retained for the duration of the Retention Period stipulated by the relevant legislation.
② In case a member has given consent to a specified Retention Period, personal information is retained for the duration of the agreed Retention Period.

■ Access, Correction, and Deletion

Members may access their personal information, request correction of error, and revoke their consent to the collection, use and provision of their personal information, including consent given during membership registration, at any time. We immediately adopt the appropriate measures, such as deletion of collected personal information and revocation of consent (membership withdrawal), at such request. Furthermore, we do not use the information requested for correction until the correction is implemented.

■ Technical/Administrative Measures

We limit and maintain a minimum number of personal information administrators in order to prevent the loss, damage, violation, disclosure and alteration of the personal information of our members. We have also prepared technical and administrative measures in order to ensure its safety.

■ Privacy Policy for Children Under 14

In order to take extra precautions to protect the privacy of children, minors under the age of 14 are not allowed to register without expressed, verifiable consent from their legal guardian (hereafter referred to as “Parent”. Furthermore, the Parent may request to revoke the consent to view and correct the personal information of the child and also revoke the consent to Terms and Policies (membership withdrawal) by phone call, email, or FAX. We immediately adopt the appropriate measures at such request.

■ Dispute Resolution Application

If a member desires to receive mediation in relation to privacy infringements, they may apply for mediation to the ‘Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee’ through the ‘Korea Internet Security Center’ which is operated by ‘Korea Information Security Agency (KISA)’.

■ Changes of This Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time pursuant to revisions made in Regulations and relevant legislations, or to provide an even better service.

■ Notification of Changes

In case any addition, revision or deletion of the Privacy Policy is required due to changes in Regulations, policies, and security technology, we will provide you with at least ten (10) days’ prior notice of the effective date regarding the reasons and details of the revised privacy policy.

■ Members who have suggestions or concerns regarding our Privacy Policy or Privacy Policy for Children may contact us at our executive office via email or phone call, and we will inform you of the result after undergoing an acceptance and review process.
